To the Family of Lloyd Behner
My name is Bob Beutler and I was a high school friend of Lloyd's at Staunton Military Academy, having been from Geneva, Ohio. I am afraid that I have not seen Lloyd since probably a few years after Staunton but always remembered him as a gentle but yet fun loving person, considerate of others and willing to offer a hand when needed. I was sorry to read of his passing and regret deeply that I didn't have the pleasure of his company for all these years following our acquaintance. Embarassingly I don't know who his family was that I am addressing with this note, but be it known that you have my sympathy. I'll close with a smile thinking of the many great times we had cruising Geneva on the Lake and travelling back and forth to Staunton. Bob Beutler

I send my sympathies to "Herkie's" family. We spent our youthful summers at Shoreland together and although we have not been in contact for many many many years, he is still a wonderful memory along with Mr. and Mrs. Behner, Herb and Nona, and, of course, Gayle, my county fair buddy. I did not know Philip well because of age differences but I send my condolences to all.
