Obituary
Rock Creek – William D. Sidley, age 82 passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was born on January 4, 1940 in Warren the son of Dominic E. and Emma (Mast) Sidley. William was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and worked as a truck driver for Matlack Inc. for 30 years. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, yardwork, fishing and hunting. William is survived by his children Teresa (John) Fuller, William D. Sidley II and Michael J. Sidley, sister Mary I. Moody, grandchildren Crystal, David and Nicole O’Meara, Alexis (Steve) Poporich, Kennedy, Karley, and Kelsey Sidley, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Dominic and Emma Sidley, siblings Donald P. Sidley, James R. Sidley, John F. Sidley and Sharon E. Sidley.
A private funeral service will be conducted by Pastor William McMinn with burial and military honors to follow at Union Cemetery, Rock Creek. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
