Thomas Leo Whitely

Colebrook Twp.  - Thomas Leo Whitely, age 94, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born on December 2, 1925 in Cleveland the son of Leo Thomas and Irene Agatha (Berry) Whitely. Thomas married Andrea (Beauvais) Whitely on January 29, 1979. He was a Railroad Engineer for New York Central and member of St. Mary Church. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.

Thomas is survived by his wife Andrea (Beauvais) Whitely, daughters Karen Ellsworth of Colebrook and Mary (Thomas) Rine of Alva, FL, sons William (Vicky) Whitely of Middlefield and Lee (Julie) Whitely of Colebrook, step-children Michelle Fry of Cross, S.C., Peter (Rosemarie) Murray of Cape Coral FL, Andrew (Roni) Murray of North Port, FL, 12 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 10 step-great grandchildren

Preceded in death by his parents Leo Thomas and Irene Agatha Whitely first wife Patricia R. (Miller) Whitely, brother Richard Whitely.

A funeral mass officiated by Rev. John P. Madden will be held at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 103 N. Maple St., Orwell, Ohio OH 44076 on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. followed by U.S. Naval Honors and burial at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Church. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
