WINDSOR TWP. - Thomas “T.J.” Niewiadomski Age 90 died peacefully Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 at UH Geneva Hospital. He was the son of Stefan and Stella Niewiadomski. Tom was born on November 27th, 1932. He was married to Shirley (Evans) Niewiadomski and proudly raised two sons Timothy and Daniel Niewiadomski. Tom was a grandfather to Adam and Andrew Niewiadomski and overjoyed to be a great grandpa to Aidan. Tom worked most of his career for Universal Joint Service in Cleveland, Ohio and retired from Kurtz Masonry in Middlefield, Ohio. Tom loved the adventure of walking the roads of Windsor and Orwell anticipating the kindnesses he would encounter along the way. He respected the Amish community and culture and made many Amish friends. One of his best friends was his push mower as he enjoyed mowing his yard and gardening. He meticulously manicured his property and raised farm animals. In his early years he could be found hunting and fishing with his brothers and buddies. Tom was a devout catholic and a member of St. Mary’s Church in Orwell, Ohio. He spent many years as a commentator, Sunday school teacher and was involved in the festival committee. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Windsor Fire Department. Tom graciously served his country as a member of the US Army in the Korean conflict. He was awarded the Korean service medal with three bronze service stars, the United Nations service medal and National Defense service medal. He is preceded in death by his parents Stefan and Stella Niewiadomski, siblings Edward, Steve, Raymond, Albert, Marie, Alice, and Stella. He is survived by his sons Timothy and Daniel (Lorie) Niewiadomski, grandsons Andrew and Adam Niewiadomski, great grandson Aidan, brother Joseph (Joanne) Niewiadomski, many nieces and nephews. A memorial mass officiated by Father Kevin McCaffrey will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 103 N. Maple Street, P.O. Box 217, Orwell, Ohio 44076. Instead of sending flowers please make memorial contributions to St. Mary’s Church. Cremation services entrusted to Paine Funeral Home, Inc., Orwell.
