Thomas Wesley Martin

Hartsgrove Twp. – On Sunday, September 19, 2021, the gates of glory opened to receive Thomas Wesley Martin, age 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Hartsgrove. He was the son of Paul M. and Anna T. (Sasek) Martin born on August 28, 1939 in Cambria County, PA. Thomas married Nancy Marie (Montville) Martin on February 7, 1975. Thomas loved to spend time with his family. He attended Grace Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening, fishing, and restoring farm equipment. Tom worked as a prototype technician at TRW and Argo Tech for many years. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Montville) Martin, four children, Vida Martin of Hartsgrove, Melissa (Ken) Lane of Naples, FL, Thomas (Kim) Martin Jr. of Hartsgrove, and Anna (Zach) Yonk of Coats, NC, brother Dennis (Pat) Martin of GA, and sister Paula D. Martin of CA, five grandchildren, Braden, Juliette and Brooklyn Lane, Delaney and Autumn Martin. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, and son Paul Arnold Martin.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Brandon Edgell will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc. 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076 on Friday, September 24th at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Hartsgrove North Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve or Grace Baptist Church.
