Shelley L Benton

North Bloomfield – Shelley L. Benton, age 88, died on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Jefferson Healthcare Center. She was born on February 22, 1931 in Highland Hgts., Ohio the daughter of Clifford J. and Elizabeth (Schultz) Fassett.

She was married to Jack E. Benton on October 10, 1951. She was a homemaker who took pride in taking care of her family and making sure everyone had a good day. She was a member of the North Bloomfield United Methodist Church.

Shelley is survived by her children Thomas (Theresa) Benton, Jeffrey (Susan) Benton and Rex Benton, daughter-in-law Charlene Benton, 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.  

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack E. Benton, son Dennis Benton, grandson Joseph Benton, 8 brothers and 3 sisters.

A funeral service officiated by Pastors Vernon Palo and David Miller will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019, 11:00 am at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, Ohio, 44076. Burial will follow at Orwell North Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
