Ronald Timothy Rogers

Kinsman — Ronald Timothy Rogers, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at St. Joseph Medical Center.

He was born on February 15, 1959, in Fostoria, Ohio, the son of Robert L. and Yvonne M. (Cutnaw) Rogers. Ron was a graduate of Grand Valley High School, Class of 1977. On July 10, 1998, he married the love of his life, Elaine Drossos.

Over the years, Ron was employed by Therm-O-Link and Delphi Packard, and he also worked as a self-employed construction contractor.

Ron enjoyed landscaping, building and repairing things, and took great pride in the home he built with his own hands. He cherished family gatherings and time spent with those he loved. Ron enjoyed watching football and basketball and will also be remembered for the many varieties of Christmas cookies he personally baked each year. Among his greatest joys was watching his son, Nick, grow and succeed. He was immensely proud of Nick's football career at Garrettsville and William & Mary and remained one of his biggest supporters, encouraging and celebrating his entrepreneurial pursuits every step of the way.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Elaine Rogers; his son, Nicholas (Jen) Rogers; his grandchildren, Peyton and Hayden; his brothers, Walter (Julia) Rogers, Marvin (Jean-Marie) Rogers, Mark (Tedi) Rogers, Victor Rogers, Vince Rogers, and Richard (Michelle) Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will take place in Orwell North Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
