Robert H. Schafle

Colebrook Twp – Robert H. Schafle, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at UH Geauga Hospital. He was born in Cleveland on October 27, 1949 the son of Russell and Mary Jane (Robinson) Schafle. Robert lived in Colebrook for the past 60 years where he enjoyed working on the family farm. He was formally employed by Steel Improvements and Forge in Cleveland where he was a tool and die setter.Robert’s hobby was buying and restoring vehicles then selling the refurbished product. He also enjoyed the time he spent farming. Survivors include his siblings Susan (Rick) Schafle of Colebrook, Vickie (Tim) Gragg of Jonesborough, TN and Kathy (Troy) Hagerman of Colebrook. Also, survived by his dog Sammy. Preceded in death by his parents Russell and Mary Jane Schafle, brother Raymond R. Schafle. A Memorial Service will be scheduled sometime in the summer of 2026.
