Cary, N.C. – Robert Charles Noderer, Jr., age 81, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Brookdale of Cary. He was born in Youngstown on November 13, 1943 the son of Robert Charles and Dorothy (Gladding) Noderer. Robert was married to Melissa (Laport) Noderer on August 19, 1967 and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Robert worked for IBM for 30 years and retired as a technical writer. He is survived by his wife Melissa Noderer of Cary, NC, daughter Leah (Robert) Noderer Damron of Mequon, WI, son Adam T. (Jennifer) Noderer of Kirkwood, MO, brothers Douglas (Bonnie) Noderer of Sharpesville, PA, Eric L. Noderer of Port Clinton, OH, grandchildren Griffin R. Damron of Austin, TX, Olivia J. Damron, Minneapolis MN, Adeline P. Damron, Mequon, WI & Madrid, Spain, Lauren K. Wright, Wendell NC, Vivian R. Noderer, Kirkwood, MO, brother-in-law’s Mark G. (Vicki) Laport, Raleigh, NC, Christopher T. (Nancy) Laport, Bloomfield Hills, MI, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his son Eric Robert Noderer.
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Laurie Krig will be held at Paine Funeral Home, 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 12:00 p.m., a committal service and military honors will follow at Windsor Twp., Cemetery. At the conclusion of services, a family greeting and luncheon will be held at St. Mary Church Hall. Instead of sending flowers, please make memorial contributions to Durham Rescue Mission, P.O.
