Windsor Township – Richard H. Holley, age 90, passed away at Blossom Hill Care Center on Saturday, April 11, 2020. He was born in Windsor Township on May 29, 1929 the son of Frank and Margaret Holley. Richard received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science from The Ohio State University in 1951. He was married to Sharon (Harpest) Holley in June of 1961. He was employed by the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier while also farming. Richard was a member of Windsor United Methodist Church, Hartsgrove and Triandria Masonic Lodges, Promise Keepers, Windsor Historical Society, founding member of Windsor Fire Department and served as a past Windsor Township Trustee. Those who knew Richard best will always remember him as being devoted to his faith and family, a lifelong Ohio State Buckeyes Football fan, and an expert vegetable gardener. He is survived by his wife Sharon, children Scott (Terri) Holley, Sam (Sonya) Holley, Lee Ann (Bill) Couts, four grandchildren Nolan (Sarah), Siera, Nathaniel, Henry and great grandson Finley. Given the current pandemic a private graveside service was conducted by Pastor Laurie Krieg at the Windsor Township Cemetery.
