Raymond Schafle Obituary

Colebrook Twp – Raymond R. Schafle, age 71, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at UH Geauga Hospital. He was born in Cleveland on October 27, 1949 the son of Russell and Mary Jane (Robinson) Schafle. Raymond lived in Colebrook for the past 60 years where he enjoyed working on the family farm. He was formally employed by Steel Improvements and Forge in Cleveland where he was a tool and die setter. Raymond’s hobby was buying and restoring vehicles then selling the refurbished product. He also enjoyed the time he spent farming. Survivors include his siblings Susan (Rick) Schafle of Colebrook, Robert Schafle of Colebrook, Vickie (Tim) Gragg of Jonesborough, TN and Kathy (Troy) Hagerman of Douglasville, GA. Preceded in death by his parents Russell and Mary Jane Schafle.

A Memorial Service will be scheduled sometime in the summer of 2021. Cremation services by Paine Funeral Home, Inc. Orwell, OH. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
