Ralph U. DePetris

Orwell – Ralph U. DePetris Jr., age 65, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born on January 4, 1958 in Cleveland the son of Ralph Ubaldo and Phyllis (Slack) DePetris. Ralph married Lana Jean (Byrd) DePetris on September 4, 1976. He was a supervisor at Avery Dennison in Painesville for 25 years. Ralph was a former member of the Miracle Temple Church and served on the worship team. He was a DJ at WCVJ radio and enjoyed music, playing the drums and reading. He is survived by his mother Phyllis Felton, wife Lana, children Regina “Punky” Ann Loy, Shandi “Jake” Lynn Wyland, Ralph “Bud” Ubaldo DePetris III, siblings Becky (Bartolo) Aponte, Carmela (Dwayne) Nieder, Christopher (Michelle) DePetris, 12 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Ralph Ubaldo DePetris Sr.

Visitation will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076 on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 5:00 p. m. to 6:45 p.m. A concluding prayer lead by Jack Ross will take place at 7:00 p.m. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
