Chardon – Michael F. Maruna, age 73 formally of Orwell passed away on April 15, 2021 at Blossom Hill Care Center. He was born on June 4, 1947 in Warren the son of Albert and Helen (Cech) Maruna. Michael was a U.S. Army veteran and an electrician who retired from Kennametal with over 25 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing darts. He is survived by his three children Michael J., Maureen, and Brittany Maruna, brother Frank (Wendie) Maruna, Sister Barbara (George) Maruna, grandchildren Maxum, Madden and Meadow Maruna. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Albert Maruna, and companion Karen Johnson.
A committal service officiated by Rev. John P. Madden will be held, 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 at St. Mary Cemetery, 103 N. Maple St., Orwell, OH 44076, with U.S. Army Honors.
