M. Tim Easton, 72 has been a lifelong resident of Colebrook, Ohio and passed away unexpectedly following a motorcycle accident on October 16, 2023 in Panama City Florida. He was born in Colebrook, Ohio on October 18th, 1950 to Melvin and Arlene Easton. In the 1970’s he enlisted and served in the US Navy. Following his time in the service he met his wife, Linda (Bogdan) and they were married on January 26th 1975 in Colebrook, Ohio and had three children, Peter, Jeremy, Tonia. Tim took over the family business Easton Excavating and has worked the business since his youth. He has also been a member of the American Legion Post 0719 for 44 years as well as a loyal member of the Cortland Moose Lodge #1012. He has enjoyed the company of his wife Linda for the past several years travelling the US in their RV and enjoying the sunshine throughout the winter months and spending time back in Colebrook with family during the summer. Tim is survived by his wife Linda Easton, sons Peter (Elly) Easton, Jeremy (Patty Patterson) Easton, daughter Tonia (Rob) Kassay, granddaughters Sara and Kala Easton, brothers Gary (Anneliese) Easton Sr, Randall Easton and sister Deanna Coats as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Arlene Easton, brother in law Steve Coats, nephew Brady Bogdan and several other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, from 2 to 6 p.m. at St Mary’s Hall, 103 N Maple St. Orwell, OH 44076 In lieu of flowers, family is requesting memorial contributions be forwarded to BlackRock College Advantage to aid in a fund that Tim had setup for his grandchildren.
