Leonard R. (Lenny) Klingensmith

Champion – Leonard (Lenny) R. Klingensmith, age 49, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. He was born on January 31, 1975 in Warren the son of Lenny Klingensmith and Roxie Ann (Ault) Diaz. Leonard enjoyed cooking, tattoos and was a huge car enthusiast. He especially liked going to the drag strip and racing. Leonard is survived by his parents Lenny (Barbara) Klingensmith of Orwell, sons Orion (Rosa) Klingensmith of Orwell, Aiden Klingensmith of Colebrook, brother Jason (Tanha) Klingensmith of Erie PA, sisters Michelle (Donnie) Arcaro of Greenville SC, Tina Murphy of Honea Path SC, grandson Dior Klingensmith of Orwell, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Roxie Ann (Ault) Diaz, maternal grandparents Thurl and Hesper Breese, paternal grandparents Richard and Helen Klingensmith, Ervin (Red) Byler and Marti Skinner.

The family will be holding a visitation on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076. Immediately following the visitation friends and family are welcome to gather at Country Neighbor, 39 South Maple Street, Orwell, OH 44076 for a dinner. A private committal service of his ashes will take place at the Orwell North Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to his father Leonard E. Klingensmith to be used for the family’s charity of choice.
