Kathleen L. Kassay

Orwell – Kathleen (Kathy) L. Kassay, age 71, passed away June 29, 2024 at Eagle Pointe.  Kathy was the daughter of Eugene Kepiro and Donna (Kepiro) Jewett born June 12, 1953.  She graduated from Grand Valley High School in 1971.  She was a very caring individual, loved her family, and was always creative making art for others. Kathy is survived by her children, Heather (Mark) Stephens and Robin Kassay, her grandson Colten Kassay, her mother Donna Jewett, her sister Cheryl (Andre) Kezdy, her sister-in-law Debra Kepiro, and former husband Elmer Kassay. She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Kepiro, her stepfather Lawrence (Skip) Jewett, and her brother Robert Kepiro. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the National Association on Mental Illness (NAMI) PO Box 49104 Baltimore, MD 21297 or www.NAMI.org.
