Katherine Anne Jacobson

Orwell Township – Katherine Anne Jacobson, age 60 passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born on July 10, 1961 in Hamblen, TN the daughter of Charles and Joyce (Rahn) Krall. She was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and married Michael Jacobson on January 25, 2005. Over the course of their relationship, they raised three kids. Katherine loved gardening and being outside. She took pride in her yard and loved to keep it looking beautiful. She loved going to the beach and collecting beach glass. Her and Michael shared an interest in the concept of metal and stone mining, sword and knife making, for which they built a forge. She was a hard worker, always doing what needed to be done and then some. She was caring, compassionate, selfless, and empathetic and always went above and beyond for everyone around her. Her laugh was contagious and her smile could light up any room she entered. Anyone who knew her knew that she was the most amazing person you’d have the opportunity to meet. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandson, Carter, who she absolutely adored. To him, she was “the nance” or “nansters” and to her, he was “Carter Bones” or “Bones-a-lish”. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother were always her greatest accomplishments in her eyes. She is survived by her parents Charles and Joyce (Rahn) Krall, husband Michael Jacobson, children Kyle (Brittany Linger) Jacobson, Adam Jacobson, Aerika Jacobson, siblings Keith (Dawn) Seals and Kelly Seals, grandchild Carter Hamilton, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Seals.
