Julie Jeanette Lukjan

New Lyme Twp. – Julie Jeanette Lukjan, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at University Hospital Cleveland. Julie was born on June 17, 1968 in East Cleveland, the daughter of Ronald Ray and Rheba Jeanette (Moody) Lowry. She was a Registered Nurse working for various hospitals throughout her career. Most recently Julie was employed by University Geauga Medical Center. She enjoyed taking walks and hiking. She was an animal lover owning several dogs, cats, goats and sheep. Julie especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at her pavilion with a campfire. She is survived by her daughter Kiera Lukjan, mother Rheba Lowry, significant other Raymond Wengerd, brothers Steve and Mike Lowry, nephews Stephen and Collin Lowry, step children Marsha, Christopher, Wayne, Matthew, Michael, Danny, and Nathan. Preceded in death by her father Ronald Ray Lowry.

A funeral service officiated by Reverend William Mullet will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc, 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076 on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Brownville Cemetery, New Lyme Twp, OH. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
