Service Announcement - Up-Date
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Marc Runyon will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020, 11:30 a.m. at Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market Street, Warren, Ohio 44483.
Warren – Judith Woodward-Glosser, age 80, passed peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Sheppard of the Valley retirement home with her middle son by her side. Judy was born October 9, 1939 in Warren, the daughter of Rex and Mildred (Hixon) McElwain. Judy was a Warren area resident her entire life. After graduating from Warren G Harding High School in 1957 she married the first love of her life Thomas L. Woodward on December 26, 1959. Together they raised 3 sons and ran the family business, The Woodward Heating Co. until Tom’s untimely passing in 1996. She was fortunate to meet the second love of her life Ralph W. Glosser Sr. and they married on October 07, 1999. She embraced Ralph’s two daughters, son and all the grandchildren that came along with them. Judy was all encompassing with her family, whether it be at their cottage on Lake Erie or their Cabin in Cook Forest, Pa. Judy was a faithful member of Central Christian Church in Warren. Judy is survived by her sons Jeffery Woodward of Nashville TN, Scott (Sharon) Woodward of Cortland, Greg (Sue) Woodward of Ashtabula, step son Ralph (Debbie) Glosser Jr. of Champion, Jill (Greg) Steinbeck of Macedonia, Amy (Greg) Moser of Mason, sister Patricia Quartier of Phoenix AZ, sister- in-law Diane Snelson of Warren and Susan Roe of Wooster, 14 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Rex and Mildred, first husband Thomas L Woodward, second husband Ralph W Glosser Sr. and brother Robert McElwain.
Per her wishes a cremation has taken place and her ashes will be interned in The Central Christian Church Columbarium. Due to COVID restrictions a Memorial Service will be held at the church at a later date to be announced. Cremation Services handled by Paine Funeral Home, Inc., Orwell, Ohio.
