Joyce Marlene O'Connor

Hartsgrove Twp. – Joyce Marlene O’Connor, age 76, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at her home. She was born on September 8, 1949, the daughter of Sanford Eugene and Dora Edith (Riggs) Irwin. Joyce married James O’Connor and they were married for 50 years until his passing. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, crocheting. She especially liked to collect and display her massive Christmas village and hosting large Easter egg hunts. Joyce is survived by her children son William Modic, daughters Kimberly Modic, Wendy Hall, Colleen (George) Cresho, brother Rodney (Elaine) Irwin, grandchildren Brittany, Branden, Madeline, Thomas, Vivian, great grandson Joey, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Sanford and Dora Irwin, husband James J. O’Connor, sisters Ella Barto, Carol Alich, brothers Dan, Charles and Terry Irwin.
