Painesville—Joyce Bishop Morris, age 85, died peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, with family by her side. She was the daughter of Louie and Mozelle Bishop, born June 6, 1940, in Milsap, Texas. Joyce was married to David Morris on November 12, 1971. Joyce was the author of 7 published books, including the “Sweet Annie” series. She was an avid crafter and the owner of several businesses. She loved garage sales, flea markets and antique stores. She enjoyed her role as matriarch and hosting holidays and family events. Joyce is survived by her husband of 54 years, David, 4 children; Anthony Constant of Warren, Jaime Bishop of Concord Twp, Scott (Shelly) Constant of Roaming Shores, and Sabrina (Bill) Pallotta of Perry, Daughter-In-Law Linda Constant, Sister Linda Long of Mentor, grandchildren; Thomas Conley, Nicholas Lee, Jeremiah Constant, Jessica Powell, Crystal Ross, Jacob Constant, Devon Cano, Emily BishopBosu, Triston Constant and Tate Newman, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 greatgreat-grandchild. She was preceded in death by parents, Louie and Mozelle Bishop, brothers Jimmy, Tom and Louie, sister Joan and son Nicholas. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of The Western Reserve, 300 East 18th St, Cleveland, OH 44119.
