John J. Kennedy

Hartsgrove Twp. – John J. Kennedy, age 70 passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at UH Geauga Hospital. He was born on October 22, 1952 in Ashtabula the son of Larry and Mary (Whitten) Kennedy. John was a U.S Army veteran and an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He enjoyed dinner out with his friends and was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. John is survived by his children, Michael (Stacy) Kennedy and Lindsey Huntley, sister Cheryl (Chris) Hammon, brothers Jeff (Sue) Kennedy and Rick Ondrejka, grandchildren Delaney Devine, James and Eleana Huntley, nephew Eric, nieces Gabby and Terri, great nieces Caroline and Mia, great nephew Jeremiah. Preceded in death by his mother Mary (Whitten) Woodring and father Larry Kennedy.

A private committal service will be conducted at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. Cremation services entrusted to Paine Funeral Home, Inc., Orwell, OH. Condolences may be made at painefunerealhome.com
