James A. Vecchio

Mecca Twp. – James “Jim” A. Vecchio, age 70, passed away at his home on Monday, June 9, 2025. He was born in Cleveland on July 25, 1954 the son of Dominic and Sylvia (Johnson) Vecchio. Jim married Jill (Boatright) Vecchio on December 29, 1973. He was a truck driver for Buckeye Bulk. Jim enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, Cleveland Guardians, Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cleveland Browns. He was an all-around Ohio sports fan. Jim is survived by his wife Jill Vecchio, children Christina (Fred) Ahrens, Jim Jr. and Timothy (Amanda) Vecchio, siblings Michael (Nancy) and Kathy Vecchio, grandchildren Madison Ahrens, Kelsey, Ryker and Nash Vecchio, Emily (Brandon) Nutter, Kathren Hecky, three great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
