James J. Sieracki

Orwell – James “Jim” J. Sieracki, age 87 passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Blossom Hill Care Center after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born in Cleveland on April 7, 1935 the son of Joseph and Tillie (Drenski) Sieracki. Jim was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a past member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a master carpenter who worked for Republic Steel for 41 years. Jim enjoyed woodworking and working in his shop, gardening and being outdoors. He married Judith (Pucel) Sieracki on September 29, 1962 and was a US Army Veteran. Jim is survived by his wife Judith, children Denise Sieracki, Greg (Catherine) Sieracki and Steve (Jennifer) Sieracki, sister Judy (Bob) Dyke, 19 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held at St. Mary Church, 103 N. Maple Street, Orwell, OH 44076 on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass officiated by Rev. David I. Bridling to begin at 10:00 a.m. and a committal service with US Army military honors will take place at St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial  contribution to St. Mary Church.
