Jack D. Brown

Hartsgrove – Jack D. Brown, age 81, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Eagle Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born on May 2, 1940 in Warren the son of George W. and Helen S. (Armstrong) Brown. Jack loved the Cleveland Indians and anything to do with baseball. He enjoyed picking berries, going for walks, and helping people with odd jobs on his adventures through town. Jack touched the lives of many people and was loved by his family and friends. He is survived by his three sisters Gayle Bean of Markham, Ontario, Phyllis McFarland of Warren, Jo Drotos of Cortland and many nieces and nephews. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, Bob, Ray, Bud, Jim, Jerry, Mike and Bill Brown, four sisters June, Nancy, Bonnie and Patsy. The family will be holding a private celebration of life. A committal of Jack’s ashes will take place at Hartsgrove Center Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Paine Funeral Home, Orwell and condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
