Grace M. Gibbons

Rome Township – Grace M. Gibbons, age 94, passed away at Eagle Pointe Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Orwell on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. She was born on September 13, 1926 in Cleveland the daughter of Frank and Erima (Egerland) Dezort.

Grace worked for Sears Roebuck Company handling payroll and secretarial duties and taught piano lessons. She enjoyed crocheting, pinochle and also playing the piano.

She is survived by her son Thomas A. (Marie) Gibbons of Rome, step-son Gene (Joan) Gibbions of Hartsgrove, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husbands Bruce Gibbions, Norman Gillmore and her oldest son John L. Gibbons.
