George E. Simpkins Sr.

Orwell Twp. – George E. Simpkins Sr., age 80, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at his home. He was born on October 3, 1945, the son of John George and Irene E. (Bair) Simpkins. George married Shirley Ann Drusko in June of 1967. He was employed at Kennametal for 40 years working in the maintenance department. He enjoyed fishing, farming, and watching football with his sons. George is survived by his sons George E. Simkins Jr., Dale A. (Heather) Simpkins, Timothy G. (Jeanie) Simpkins, sisters Patrica Goffrey, Sis (Albert) Lewis, brother Bill Simpkins, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jerry, Bob, John Simpkins, and former wife Shirley.
