George Myers Obituary

North Bloomfield – George W. Myers, age 66, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Heather Hill Care Communities in Chardon. He was born in Grafton, WV on March 23, 1954 the son of Hubert A. and Laura V. (Shaffer) Myers. George was a former employee of Middlefield Swiss Cheese. He enjoyed country living and working on the family farm for 20 plus years. George especially liked tending to the ducks, geese and cats. He was a caregiver and guardian to four of his nieces and nephews.

George is survived by his siblings Jake Myers, Patty Hall, Paul (Dian) Myers Sr., nieces and nephews Danny, Christine, Peggy, Thomas (Brandie) Hall, Lisa and Paul (Katie) Myers Jr. Preceded in death by his parents Hubert A. and Laura V. (Shaffer) Myers and brother Donny Myers.

A private funeral service officiated by Rev. John Gehring-Anders will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 12 (noon) at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc. 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076 with burial to follow at Brownwood Cemetery, North Bloomfield, Township. Condolence may be made at painefuneralhome.com
