Gary Bruce Kingdom

N. Bloomfield – Gary Bruce Kingdom, age 73, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 after a battle with cancer. He was born on July 23, 1947 in Warren, the son of Wayne L. Kingdom and Irene (Cannon) Pugh. Gary was married to Sandra Lee (Elwood) Kingdom on September 10, 1977. He was a self-employed truck driver who retired in 2000 from Ranger Landstar. He enjoyed farming, restoring antique trucks and tractors, dozing and excavating. Gary enjoyed playing Santa for children in the area for 45 years. He especially liked going to Florida in the winter and spending time with his family, friends, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Sandra Lee Kingdom, five children Keith Kingdom, Denise (Ezra) Warner, Kris Koon, Dwayne Kingdom, Kurtis (Corissa) Kingdom all of N. Bloomfield, grandchildren Cassady, Katrina, Jacquelyn, Hannah,  Madelyn, Peyton, Lexi, Jazlynn, Jase and Grace. Preceded in death by his parents Wayne (Louise) Kingdom and Irene (Bobby) Pugh.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Vernon Palo will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc. 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, Ohio 44076 on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Brownwood Cemetery, N. Bloomfield Twp. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please be advised per the State of Ohio facial covering is required to attend. The family requests that instead of sending flowers please make memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or Hospice of the Valley (www.hospiceofthevalley.com) envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
