Frank J. Maruna

Orwell Twp. – Frank J. Maruna, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at UH Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Warren on January 27, 1949, the son of Albert George and Helen (Cech) Maruna. Frank married Wendie Louise (Pilarczyk) Maruna on June 14, 1980. He worked for Flambeau, Inc in Middlefield for 42 years. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran that served with the 101st Airborne Division. Frank attended the North Bloomfield Church on the Commons and was an avid talented hunter. Frank is survived by his wife Wendie L. Maruna of Orwell, sons Adam (Leyla Satori) Maruna of Green, Shawn (Dana) Maruna of Jefferson, sister Barbara Maruna of Orwell, grandchildren Hunter Maruna, Alexa and Remi Clark and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Albert George and Helen Maruna, brothers Al and Mike Maruna.  

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Jack Childers will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076 on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 12 (noon). Burial will follow at Orwell North Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will take place prior to services from 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
