Elsie Neely

Orwell – Elsie Neely, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg. She was born on August 24, 1928 in Pageton, WV the daughter of Pleas and Bessie (Mitchum) Graham. Elsie married Noel Neely on June 5, 1948. She retired from Kennametal Inc. after 36 years of service. Elsie enjoyed bingo, embroidery, coloring, going to the casino and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Deborah Quiggle, Brenda (John) Biggs, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Noel Neely, sons Raymond “Bud” Neely, Michael Neely, daughters Sadie Bentz, Sandra Martin, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Jody Baker will take place at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 440765 on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., burial will follow at Orwell North Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North Street, Chardon, OH 44024.
