Douglas Mark Schreckengost

Rock Creek – Douglas Mark Schreckengost, age 58, passed away unexpectedly due to a prolonged illness at his home on Thursday, June 18, 2020. He was born on October 16, 1961 in Warren the son of John and Virginia (Greathouse) Schreckengost. 

Douglas was married to Cynthia (Kolakowski) Schreckengost on August 28, 2009. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator at R. W. Sidley for 18 years. He enjoyed going to the drag strip with his buddies, his Harley, muscle cars and watching “the Browns” and Cleveland sports teams.  He especially liked spending time with his grandson.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia Schreckengost, children Douglas James Schreckengost and Tiffany Renee Hiley, siblings Deb Fishburn, Becky Mason, Brenda Beckwith and grandson Dominic David Daughtry.

Preceded in death by his parents John and Virginia Schreckengost and siblings Connie Leers and David Schreckengost.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Please feel free to make condolences at painefuneralhome.com.
