Donna L. (Hare) Bissell

Cortland – Donna Lee Bissell, age 83, passed away at Ohio Living Lake Vista on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.She was born in Cleveland on August 18, 1942 the daughter of Allen and Sara Mildred (Epley) Hare. Donna graduated from G.V. High School in 1960. She married Larry Bissell on June 10, 1967, she was a homemaker and in her younger days was the head waitress at the Switching Post in Windsor. Donna enjoyed bowling, sewing, ceramics, playing cards, crafts and working in her flower garden. She relished spending time with her grandchildren and afternoon delights with the neighbors. Donna is survived by her daughter Heather Brown, grandchildren Austin Bissell, Logan and Lily Brown, sister-in-law Dorothy Hare. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry Bissell, infant twin brother and brother George.

Visitation will take place on Monday, November 24, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076. A private committal service will be held at Windsor Twp., Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Lake Vista for their care and support.
