Roaming Shores – Dianne Lauree Sokol, age 76, formally of Paw Paw, MI, passed away at Eagle Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Orwell, OH on Thursday, February 25, 2021. She was born in Flint, MI on June 14, 1944 the daughter of Arthur and Doris (Walker) Taylor. Dianne was married to Donald E. Sokol on June 19, 1993. She worked for Covance Research Products in Kalamazoo, MI and was a member of the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Sokol, children Scott (Amy) Vickerman, Julie (Mike) Spero and Steve Burgis, grandchildren Shylee (Ricky) Barbera, Maya and Lexi Vickerman, Sophie and Jake Spero, great grandchildren Liam, Ethan and Adam Barbera. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Thelma Orvis, Janette Fergusson, Mary Ellen Morse and brother Donald Taylor.

A private celebration of life will be held this summer at Higgins Lake, MI. Cremation services entrusted to Paine Funeral Home, Inc., Orwell, OH. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
