Diane Marie (Braun) Ludwick

Rome - Diane Marie Ludwick (nee Braun, Barrett), age 66, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022, after a determined battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on September 17, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio. Diane loved the outdoors and taking walks in nature. She was an expert crocheter and crafter; and her handmade gifts are the prized possession of her family and friends. She was a compassionate person who knew how to make you smile, and her feisty spirit was one you wanted in your corner. She is survived by her husband Douglas Ludwick, daughters Michelle Cerny, and Amy Weber (Nate), son Neil Barrett (Hasaleah), stepdaughter Heidi Baumgart (Devin), siblings, Cindy Lueders (Tom); Richard Braun (Michele); Libby Boomhower (Jim); and John Braun (Candie) and grandchildren Jacquelyn; Teegen; Morgan; Brooks; Dorian; Joe; Lucas; Silas; and Reid. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Rae Braun and sister Martha Henry.

A memorial gathering of Diane’s family and friends will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E.
