David Nelson Morris

Painesville - David Nelson Morris, age 77, died on Saturday, December 13, 2025, with family by his side. He was the son of William and Irma Morris, born September 18, 1948 in Orwell, Ohio. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1968-1972. One of his favorite stories was the fact that he was stationed in the South Pacific during the first moon landing and was part of the crew to retrieve and transport the moon rocks. In 1971, while stationed at McClellan AFB, he met Joyce Bishop, the love of his life. They married on November 11, 1971, and moved to Ohio after his discharge. David built an amazing career at Lincoln Electric as an electrical engineer, retiring in 2010. He was a devoted family man, spending his free time woodworking, constructing, repairing whatever his wife and children were in need of. David is survived by his children; Anthony Constant of Warren, Jaime Bishop of Concord Twp, Scott (Shelly) Constant of Roaming Shores, and Sabrina (Bill) Pallotta of Perry, Daughter-In-Law Linda Constant, brothers Gary, Alan, Jeff, Brian and Kevin Morris, grandchildren; Thomas Conley, Nicholas Lee, Jeremiah Constant, Jessica Powell, Crystal Ross, Jacob Constant, Devon Cano, Emily Bishop-Bosu, Triston Constant and Tate Newman, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by Joyce, his wife of 54 years, parents William and Irma Morris, sister Sandra Dobos and son Nicholas Constant.
