Daniel J Gwinn

Bristolville - Daniel "Dan" Gwinn, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday evening, January 14, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Dan was born June 15, 1947 in Chardon, the son of the late Lewis "Bill" Gwinn and Irene (Finlaw) Gwinn. He started his days by hanging out at the local coffee shop with his coffee club cronies, which included his best buddy, Fred Smith.  Then he'd head to his office, Gwinn Brothers Construction, where he took great pride in overseeing his company.  On the weekends, he enjoyed spending time with his family and riding his four wheeler with the grandchildren.  He had a love for old cars and attending many car and gun shows. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda L. Gwinn of 44 years, son Jason (Amy) Gwinn, daughters, Hollie (Jeremy) Hart, Mitzi (Tim) Pastor, Tammy (Barry) Benoit; grandchildren, Andrew Grahl, Daniel, Vivian, Tessa & Holden Gwinn; Keegan & Braden Hart; Caleb Pastor; Katie Habel & Sofie Simpson; Amanda McDowell; great grandchildren, Aleeah, Storm, Madison, Lathan; brothers, Roger "Rat" (Marilyn) Gwinn, Sid Gwinn and sisters, Darlene (Russ) Molinatto and Velda Gwinn, and sister- in- law, Donna Gwinn. Dan was preceded in death by parents, brother Jack Gwinn and daughter, Cindy Bowlen.

Following Dan's wishes, there will be a private committal service of his ashes at a later date.  Internment will take place at Sager Cemetery, Bristolville, Ohio.  Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com.
