Bloomfield Township – Connie J. Eastlake, age 73, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at her home under hospice care. She was born on June 14, 1946 in Greenville, PA the daughter of Samuel and Madeline (Keene) Powell. Connie was married to Dennis L. Eastlake on April 26, 1969. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service delivering mail and at the Value King Grocery Store, but a majority of her time she was a home maker. Connie was a member of the N. Bloomfield Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and roller skating. Survivors include her husband “Denny”, son Troy A. Eastlake of N. Palm Beach, FL, daughter Kelly (Ty) Inskeep of Lakeland, FL, step siblings Chris Shansky, Ann Parks, Steve Smith, grandchildren Mercedes Martinez, Marissa Inskeep, great grandchildren Miqueas and Azrael Martinez. Preceded in death by her parents and step-father James Smith.
In keeping with the order of the governor of Ohio we will be holding a private service officiated by Pastor Luke Meadows at North Bloomfield Assembly of God Church, with burial at Brownwood Cemetery.
