Charlotte Elaine (Crislip) Bowen

Rock Creek - Charlotte Elaine (Crislip) Bowen, age 91 passed away at home Friday, August 11, 2023. Charlotte was born on March 28, 1932 the daughter of Paul and Alice (Pugh) Crislip. She is survived by her brother Paul (Heidi) Crislip, five children; Melodie (Brian) Broda, Louise Bowen, Diane (Conley) Smith, Ginny (John) Gaynor, and Tom (Judy) Bowen. Charlotte had ten grandchildren; Amy, Max, Jana, Jenny, Thomas, Jack, Evan, Drew, Sara and Celia. Six great grandchildren Justin, Abby, Ethan, Kristian, Kacen, Myles. And one great great granddaughter Maggie. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Norman. Sister Gail Crislip Barber, infant sister Alberta Crislip and brother Raymond Crislip. For over 20 years, Charlotte enjoyed spending winters in Florida. She loved gardening, bird watching, reading and spending time with her family. She was a cook at Rock Creek Elementary for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
