Carson Glasier Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carson Hartman Glasier of Huntsburg, Ohio. On May 10, 2023 he was involved in a fatal traffic accident at the young age of 18. Carson was born in Greensburg, PA on October 26, 2004 to Stacy Lynn Hartman of Pittsburgh PA, and Grant Hamilton Glasier of Littleton CO. Carson’s faith in God was strong and his love of family was enduring. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, often seen in the woods with a Paul Bunyan ax in hand chopping wood or setting up camp. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, working out, playing the drums, snowmobiling, trap & skeet, and playing with his siblings. He loved trucks, sports cars, country music, and campfires as well as reading books, exploring technology, engaging in conversation, and all things marvel universe. He was sensitive and compassionate, always seeing what others may have missed. He had an eye for detail and if it was broken, he would fix it. Carson’s friends were many and his friend groups were from numerous walks of life.  Carson was a recent high school graduate and had plans for secondary education.  His career interests were environmental engineering, game and wildlife management, and forestry. His horticultural knowledge earned him multiple accolades while his curiosities bred new adventures and projects. Carson was a patriot, and his truck could be often seen with an American flag waving in the wind. He Fostered many musical interests and was a member of the Geauga Highlander Bagpipe band. Carson’s skill set, abilities, determination, and mental wherewithal signaled a bright future that has sadly gone unrealized. He is survived by his mother, Stacy Lynn Hartman, father, Grant Glasier, adoptive father, Christopher Kostiha, and four siblings, Cassidy, Conner, Vivienne and Christian as well as numerous family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly.
