Autumn Kaye Vanek

Orwell – Autumn Kaye Vanek, age 18, passed away on December 1, 2022 at her mother’s home in Brooklyn after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Chardon on July 7, 2004 the daughter of Nicholas Vanek and Wensdee (Pawlowski) Wheeler. Autumn worked for Napoli’s Daycare in Rock Creek. She enjoyed playing Fortnite with her BFF Peach. Also, she enjoyed spending time with her family, going to concerts, shopping, and swimming. Autumn is survived by her mother Wensdee (Greg) Wheeler, father Nicholas (Jen) Vanek, sisters Anndria Vanek, Jewely Hensley, Rilley Campbell, Ember Vanek, brothers Joseph Hensley, Skylar Martin, Alex Hensley, Xander Vanek, grandma Tracie (Gregg) Kellison, grandfathers Mack (Rebecca) Pawlowski, Bill Vanek, great grandmother Joanne Hopes, aunts Shelbi Pawlowski, Jaclyn Miller, Uncles Mack Pawlowski, Bill Vanek, Scott Plumley and several cousins. Preceded in death by grandmother Linda “Ammy” Vanek, great grandpa Richard Hopes and cousin Connor Vanek. 

A funeral service officiated by Rev. James Stanley will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076 on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 8:00 p.m., visitation will be held prior to services 5:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of Wensdee Wheeler.
