Anthony J. (Tony) Klosinski

Orwell Twp. – Anthony (Tony) Klosinski, age 82, passed away early Sunday Morning, December 12, 2021, at home with his family by his side. He was born in Warren on July 12, 1939 the son of Chester and Helen (Cieszenski) Klosinski. As a young man growing up in North Bloomfield, Tony was one the “Klosinski boys” - a trio of brothers known for working hard and playing hard. After high school, Tony served in the U.S. Army at Fort Huachuca, Arizona and returned to civilian life at Ohio University, where he graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Tony then worked as a sales engineer, specializing in seals and o-rings. He enjoyed the projects his work gave him and the many people he would interact with. In 2007 he retired from Zatkoff to enjoy a life of leisure with his wife. Tony was always up for a good conversation. He was a descriptive story teller and he had a joke for every occasion. He was an avid reader of science fiction stories and enjoyed books about ancient world history. Tony always loved to learn about new things and had an insatiable curiosity for how things worked. He also enjoyed fishing (with Canada being his favorite spot) and would never turn down a good card game. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Helen Klosinski, and his older brother, Chet Klosinski. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marti Klosinski, his brother Stanley (Irene) Klosinski, his daughter, Sarah (Jon) Holbrook, one granddaughter, Maryellen Holbrook and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076 on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. A funeral service officiated by Rev. J. Thomas Holbrook will follow at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Warren Family Mission, P.O. Box 311, Warren, OH 44482.
