She was a member of the Orwell Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed baking and cooking which she loved to share with others. She also enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and fabric art which often became treasured presents. Anita had a big heart, was generous, and her hearty laugh would fill a room. She was an independent spirit, but loved getting together for family holidays and events, monthly Trendle family gatherings and annual Pietrasz family reunions. She was involved with Grand Valley Ruritan Club and the Red Hat Society social club. Due to the coronavirus restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date, likely in the summer.
