Hartsgrove Township – Wilbur Poyer, age 94, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at UH Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Cleveland on February 9, 1925 the son of George and Mary (Patterson) Poyer.

Wilbur was married to “the love of his life” Patricia (Kohler) Poyer on May 4, 1957. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the Philippines and Korea. He was the owner of Poyer Supply, which was a plumbing and heating business, for over 50 years. Wilbur attended  New Promise Church in Kirtland, was a member of Orwell American Legion Post # 719, VFW and past Chief of Hartsgrove Volunteer Fire Department.
