Sharon Hanna Bates

Sharon Hanna Bates, 68, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2017 with her family by her side at Jefferson Healthcare.

Sharon, formerly of Rock Creek, OH, was the daughter of Dominic and Emma Mast Sidley, born on December 28, 1948 in Warren OH.

Sharon worked at the former Andover Industries. She enjoyed her flower garden, playing with great grandkids, family trips, card games, and drinking coffee with friends.

She is survived by her brother, William Sidley, sister, Mary Moody, daughter, Laura (Todd) Anderson, and son-in-law Steve (Tracy) Irish, two grandchildren; Rachel (Bobby) Sweitzer and Mitchell (Marissa) Irish, four great-grandchildren; Destiny Sweitzer, Beau Sweitzer, Jaicee Sweitzer, and Brock Sweitzer, and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Laird Hanna, second husband, Terry Bates, three brothers; James Sidley, Don Sidley, and John Sidley, a brother-in-law, Richard Moody, and a sister-in-law, Alice Sidley.

Funeral Services officiated by Rev. Jim Stanley will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 11:00am at Paine Funeral Home, Inc. 140 E. Main St. Orwell, OH 44076 with burial to follow at Union Cemetery, Rock Creek, OH.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
