Roger Alan Blackshere

North Bloomfield – Roger Alan Blackshere, age 68, passed away at St. Joseph Warren Hospital on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. He was born in N. Bloomfield on September 2, 1948 the son of John Warren and Theda Elouise (Pettit) Blackshere.

He worked for Triad Telephone Company and Eveready Battery Company. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycles and old cars.

He is survived by his children Diane (Theodore) Gruver, Keith Blackshere and Briane Blackshere, sisters Jane Shipman and Mary Noble, brother Don (Cindy) Blackshere, grandchildren Jacquelyn and Dakota Chisholm, Kyle Blackshere, Alexys Gruver, Karisten and Kaden Blackshere, Niko and Lennox Bohannon, great grandchildren Scarlett and Emmitt Arrasmith.

Preceded in death by his parents, son Jon Michael Blackshere, great grandson Cameron Arrasmith.

The family would like to send a special thank you to those that helped in Roger’s care, including  Jane Shipman, James Merlino and Greg Fenton. “It was greatly appreciated”
