North Bloomfield – Paul R. Bazilius, age 73, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Select Specialty Care Hospital in Warren, with family at his side. He was born on July 21, 1945 in Warren, the son of Paul and Ruth (Cummins) Bazilius.
Paul was a retired Crain Operator at Copperweld Steel Company, and worked in trucking, and transporting animals. He enjoyed fishing, listening to polka music and hauling horses and livestock.
Survivors include his daughters, Tina Bazilius-Mears of Largo, FL., Tami (Tony) D’Amico of Warren, Theresa (Doug) Cross of Cortland, sister Mary Clisby of Williamsfield, cousin Joseph Bazilius of Strongsville, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Scott Bazilius, brother Robert Bazilius, sister Ruth Knapp, and a great grandson Anthony Greening.
A funeral service officiated by Rev. John Gehring Anders will be held at Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, 44076 on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Brownwood Cemetery, North Bloomfield, Twp. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
