Mary Eileen Bemme

ORWELL --- Mary Eileen (Satterfield) Bemme, age 63, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Eagle Pointe Skilled Nursing with members of her family by her side.

Born on October 8, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio, Mary was the daughter of Fay Ilean Satterfield and Glenn Allen Satterfield.

Mary enjoyed good food, shopping, dancing, and listening to country music. An avid sports fan, she loved both the Cleveland Indians and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was intelligent and opinionated, and enjoyed word search puzzles and reading the paper. She was gregarious and social. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with dear friends and family. Mary had a joyful, generous spirit. Despite many difficult circumstances, Mary was warm-hearted, sweet, and encouraging to everyone she came in contact with. She would do anything to help another person. She will be deeply missed.

Mary is survived by her father, her daughter Samantha Lampela, her aunt M. Jean LeRoy, and her 3 nephews: Richard Veres, Ian LeRoy, and Steven M. Veres.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her grandparents, her son William L. Bemme, and her loving partner John Anderson.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
