Windsor Township – Marilyn Louise Girman, age 95, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at The Welsh Home in Rocky River. She was born on February 4, 1924 in Cleveland the daughter of Robert and Marie (Reifschneider) Brewster.
Marilyn was married to George Girman on December 27, 1952. She was an elementary school teacher for 25 years teaching at several school districts. She was a member of the Mayflower Society and active with social causes and politics. Marilyn loved cooking and animals, especially dogs. She was an avid reader and Days of Our Lives follower.
She is survived by her children sons George, Richard, and Robert Girman, Daughters Sandra and Patricia Girman, Janice (Scott Daughtery) DeAngelis, Linda (Kyle) Ward , Jennifer Girman, grandchildren Ben Girman, Kristin and David DeAngelis, Alex Ward and Jordan Esposito, great-grandchild Isabella Girman, Anthony and Francis Langat.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband George, sister Doris Mayer, and great granddaughter.
A funeral service officiated by Rev. John Gehring-Anders will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc. 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076 on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 12:00 p. m. Burial will follow at Windsor Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
