Linda Benton Obituary

Leavittsburg – Linda M. Benton, age 74, formally of Orwell died on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her home. She was born on November 18, 1944 in Cleveland the daughter of Elvern and Della Mae (Hoffman) Hatch.

She was married to Glenn Benton on September 5, 1969. Linda was a Sales Clerk for Davis True Value Hardware in Orwell for 20 years. She loved her animals, putting puzzles together and the television show Nashville.

Survivors include her daughter Tina (Tom Moran) Benton and in laws Ray (Marquita), Karen, Ed, Lanita Benton and Norm Morrison, several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ron, Bill and Gene Hatch, sister Betty Packwood.

Linda’s family will greet friends and relatives at Colebrook Community Center (ST. RT 46 & US 322 in Colebrook) on December 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. A brief memorial service will be held at 5:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in care of Tina Benton.
